Universal Publishing & research organization (UPRO) is committed  to peer review integrity and practices the highest standards of ethical publishing across all the UPRO journals. We publish original research papers that has not been published nor under review elsewhere. These guidelines aim to provide authors, editors, and reviewers with proper guidance to publish articles using best practices and codes of conduct.

Improper Author Contribution or Attribution

Including authors who have not contributed to the research in the manuscript and excluding authors who have contributed to the research is unacceptable author contribution. All listed authors must have made a significant scientific contribution to the research in the manuscript and approved all its claims. It is important to list everyone who made a significant scientific contribution to the research.

Plagiarism

Using another person’s ideas, language, graphs, pictures, results and experiments without giving credit to them. Without citing the source, copying even a single sentence from your own or another person’s research paper leaded to plagiarism.

Duplicate/Redundant Publication

A manuscript should be submitted only one time to a certain journal. It is a waste of time of editors and peer reviewers, and can also damage the reputation of journals if published in more than place. If the authors decided to submit to another journal, they should withdraw the first submission.

Data Fabrication and Falsification

Making up data or results and recording or reporting them is fabrication of data. Falsification of data is manipulating research materials, omitting/deletion/suppression of conflicting data without justification and this would cause mistrust and disgrace to scientific community.

Citation Manipulation

Only the used work of the authors or others should be cited in the reference list. Authors should avoid citing work of others only to increase the number of citations of a particular author’s work or a certain journal.

Editorial Decisions

Editors and Reviewers are responsible for taking decisions of accepting or rejecting manuscripts. These decisions should be taken based on the evaluation to the scientific content and without any bias to race, gender, origin, religious belief, sexual orientation, political philosophy of the authors.

Confidentiality

All the information about a submitted manuscript should remain confidential and not to be revealed and communicated to anyone except the author’s, potential reviewers, journal’s Editor-in-Chief, and the publisher.

Sanctions

In the event that there are documented violations of any of the above mentioned policies in any journal, regardless of whether or not the violations occurred in a journal published by UPRO, the following sanctions will be applied:

  • Immediate rejection of the infringing manuscript.
  • Immediate rejection of every other manuscript submitted to any journal published by UPRO by any of the authors of the infringing manuscript.

In cases where the violations of the above policies are found to be particularly egregious, the publisher reserves the right to impose additional sanctions beyond those described above.
